The No-Fi Zone

During the last two weeks, which we spent in Everglades National Park, we had no access to the Internet.  Not only was there no Wi-Fi, but also our Verizon iPad, which is the hotspot we use for Internet access when we have no Wi-Fi, had no signal.

We did have one connection to the world – telephone access on our iPhones (we intentionally have a different provider, AT&T, so when one provider is not available we may have a chance on another).  Unfortunately, the signal was weak and not enough to do much on the Internet.  Hector calls this the No-Fi Zone.

So we found ourselves way behind on our blog posts.  We’re now back in civilization, in the Conch Republic no less (check out the photo on the home page on Where is Camp Lopez Today) and, in the next few days, we’ll be uploading quite a few posts about the amazing Everglades, so stay tuned.  The blog continues to be a learning experience.

Please let us know if you have any suggestions on how we may improve the blog, we’re definitely open to new ideas and continue to have fun sharing our travels.
